In 2011, our first development was patented, which ensured the publication of technical information related to the corresponding engineering solution. Subsequently, the first experimental prototype of the device was created, which demonstrated promising results during experimental operation.
Video material demonstrating the operation of the experimental prototype is available at the following link:

In the course of practical research and testing of various design approaches, a video material was published on our YouTube channel in 2022:

This video presents all possible design implementation variants of the Radix Omnidirectional Treadmill, intended to provide pedestrian locomotion of the user in virtual reality.
In 2023, we filed applications for two patents covering the most promising design solutions demonstrated in the aforementioned video material. In 2025, patents for these technical solutions were granted.
We have considered and continue to consider our three patents for Radix Omnidirectional Treadmill devices not as instruments of restriction, but as a means of protecting the selected development direction from potential patent barriers imposed by third parties and as a way to keep this direction open for further development.
This platform has been created for the development and advancement of various engineering solutions in the field of virtual reality under the Radix brand. Our goal is to create devices that are accessible to a wide range of users worldwide.
The Radix project is based on the use of open-source software. Community members may propose their own ideas, participate in the development of control software on the GitHub platform, and take part in discussions of both technical and conceptual solutions.
We are confident in the high potential of our developments and regard the community of like-minded individuals as a key factor in their further advancement.
Geographical distance is not a limitation for effective collaboration: modern communication technologies make it possible to participate in the project remotely—from anywhere in the world. If you have ideas or proposals, are interested in providing financial support for the project, or wish to take an active part in its development, please contact us.
